(RN) Registered Nurse-Unit Manager Qualifications & Responsibilities:
As a (RN) Registered Nurse-Unit Manager on our team, you'll play a hands-on role in enhancing residents' daily lives. (RN) Registered Nurse-Unit Manager Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Previous long-term care experience is preferred
- Previous dialysis experience preferred
- Prior experience in staff management preferred
- Supervise nursing staff during assigned shifts, including oversight of medication administration, blood draws, and other aspects of patient care
- Conduct regular nursing rounds on each unit multiple times per shift
- Provide education and support to staff, residents, and family members as needed
- Assess individual patient needs to develop and implement appropriate care plans
- Monitor and document treatments and patient progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with supervising physicians to support residents’ recovery and overall care
- Ensure staff compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
- Schedule: Full-time, dayshift, On-Call Rotation
