Position Description

Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Northeast Region (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract | 12 Weeks | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Compensation

Pay Range:$44.10-$63.00/Hrs

Description

  • Provide high-quality care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during labor and delivery.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Utilize electronic medical records to document patient care.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintain professional standards and comply with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess patient vitals and progress during labor.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist in the delivery process and provide postnatal care.
  • Educate patients and families on postpartum care and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery required.
  • Active RN License in NJ or Compact License required at submission.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, C-EFM required.
  • Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
