Position Description

Join a leading healthcare facility in New York as a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room procedures. This role involves working in an acute care hospital environment, focusing on scrub and circulate duties.

About the Opportunity:

Hybrid or Remote: Onsite
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends
Hours: 13-week contract
Setting: Acute Care Hospital

Responsibilities:

The RN - Cardiovascular (CVOR) Operating Room will be responsible for:

Demonstrating awareness of individual patient rights
Providing safe patient care in individual rooms
Monitoring physical symptoms
Ensuring consent is complete and dated
Performing scrub and circulating duties efficiently

Qualifications:

2+ years of OR experience
Current New York State RN License
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
IV insertion skills
Phlebotomy skills
Strong conscious sedation experience
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure

Desired Skills:

3+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Additional certifications in Cardiovascular Nursing
Proficiency in EPIC EMR
Strong problem-solving skills
