Registered Nurse

Contract Duration: 13 weeks, with a high possibility of extension

Location: Covering Morris, Somerset, Union, and Essex Counties

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM (1 weekend per month, additional days possible)

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in home care? We’re looking for an experienced Home Care Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient-centered care in the community!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and determine appropriateness for home care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care based on evidence-based knowledge.
• Accurately complete OASIS assessments and ensure timely documentation.
• Use age-appropriate teaching methods to educate patients and families about care plans.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and prioritize patient care needs.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and co-workers, following all infection control measures.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN or progress toward BSN preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of home care experience in a Medicare-certified agency.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and safe medication management.
