Dialysis Nurse New

Pride Health is hiring a Dialysis (Acute) RN to support our client’s medical facility in Neptune, NJ. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: Dialysis (Acute) RN

Location: Neptune, NJ 07754

Shift: 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM), Every Other Weekend, On-Call as Needed

Contract Length: 13 Week with possible ext.

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with current hemodialysis experience to provide patient care in a dialysis setting. This position involves evaluating, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care tailored to the specific needs of each patient undergoing dialysis treatment. The ideal candidate will have acute hemodialysis experience, a thorough understanding of Fresenius equipment, and a commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans based on initial and ongoing evaluations.
• Provide therapeutic nursing interventions to patients undergoing hemodialysis.
• Manage the care of patients and ensure accurate documentation in accordance with nursing standards and patient acuity.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to dialysis treatments and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Advocate for evidence-based practices and support their integration into patient care protocols.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing standards and practice models.
• Participate in on-call duties and ensure care coverage for assigned shifts, including holidays as needed.
• Ensure safe operation and knowledge of Fresenius dialysis equipment, including the T Machine and portable RO systems.
• Maintain a focus on patient safety, including monitoring for complications during dialysis.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of acute hemodialysis experience.
• Strong knowledge of Fresenius dialysis equipment, including the T Machine and portable RO systems.
• Telemetry experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

Required: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing).

Preferred: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).

Certifications and Licensure:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA).
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
